If you have a WordPress challenge, wherever you need to have to incorporate some tailor made code or a WordPress snippet for tailor made performance, you defo do NOT want to increase that to your Theme’s features.php file!
Sure, you could incorporate a Child Theme and increase the code there or you could set up a plugin that will allow you to incorporate personalized code to your challenge but why not create your possess plugin?
This WordPress tutorial demonstrates my preferred choice, and which is building my very own “project-particular” plugin so I can add all the personalized code in just one area with out the require for a youngster concept, hurrah!
