  • Hi David, thanks for sharing such a great video, what a pity you didn't cover verifying ownership! Otherwise, all was good and as expected. Merry Christmas

  • Any chance you could do a tutorial for configuring the free Cloudflare DNS settings in? The actual instruction given by the siteground dont really make any sense to me.

Hey David, Lots and lots of Appreciation for you work. You videos are really informative. But I am A front end developer and wanna create my website hand coded. So What I am Trying to find is just a domain and web hosting service where I can import my files and it loads my website live (Fast).

Siteground recently introduced two-way-authentification with an evil twist for webdesigners: Even when clients deactivate it, it still stays active and also has a geo-lock, which in essence makes it impossible for web deisgners to do their job. Speaking to Siteground, they don't seem to understand the issue or simply don't care. I had to switch to other hosting companies as a result. It's a real pity, but Siteground is not an option anymore. I switched to other hosting companies.

  • Very informative, I appreciate this. Quick question- what are the major differences of choosing Web Hosting or WordPress hosting? What if someone already accidentally chose WP hosting instead can it be changed?

  • Excellent video! Subscribed. Very helpful. I'm pursuing a career in blog writing or copywriting and was looking for an up to date youtube tutorial on how to set up my site securely and best set up to help me learn how to run an optimized site. Glad to see the plug-in for SEO! Will come in handy.

    Cheers!

David, really, really informative video, thank you. I had already registered with Namecheap and then chosen Siteground to host, but their action steps didn't mention activating the SSL certificate and their instructions for their "to-do" list harder to follow than watching your video. One comment: I had to stop your video and back up over and over again because you moved so fast through what to do and I couldn't follow what you had just done. But that was just a minor inconvenience; again, this video was just what I needed to get up and running building my website!

  • When I click on Let’s Encrypt it gives me an error message saying; Failed to install. No domains can be authorized

  • Thanks so much for your well explained video. Could you please answer a question for me? I have a blog on blogger which I only started because it was part of my online training for the last few months, but also have a website on WordPress and had somebody help me get my WordPress SEO, etc sorted but she has since stopped. I am a total newbie so don't know much about anything online (I know it sounds crazy in this day n age) I now want to move my blog from blogger to WordPress. I realize I would have to purchase a new domain with a similar name as my blog, as I cannot take my domain name with me. Apparently, it belongs to Google. Can I use my existing WordPress site for my second domain or how does it work? And which hosting company works well in Africa? I would so appreciate someone's help PLEASE.

  • Dont go for SITEGROUND … big issue happen with me .. i forgot to renew my hosting because of some health issues .. Site ground just wipe out my all website data after 30 days .. they not even mailed or contacted me about their such policy .. i have lost all data and everything for which i spent almost year .. i asked them if they have any backups ill pay for it but no use .. its their policy to erase all your data after a month . so think and decide.. thanks

Hopefully a quick question. I made it to the part where you choose a theme and I am suffering from input overload. Do you have a suggestion/recommendation as to the best theme for someone who handcrafts, (physical and digital), and wants to sell the items? I don't want to go the etsy route for obvious reasons, (free shipping really isn't free when they tell you to roll shipping into your product price). However, there is also this annoying thing called sales tax I have to collect and keep track of. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated! TIA

  • Looking for this video. The thank you
