Thank you for the great video!

I installed both Yoast SEO and Rank Math on my site to compare the two plugins.
One thing I noticed is that Yoast SEO recognized more keyword variations than rank math. I typed in the same long tail focus keyword into Yoast SEO and Rank Math for the same article. Yoast said the keyword was found 15 times in the article and Rank math said the keyword was found in the content 10 times. I guess Rank Math only recognizes the keyword when you type it exactly as it is without any words in between.

I am a bit confused now which plugin is "right" and how this matter should be approached? Not sure if you are the right person to ask but do you maybe have a recommendation which plugin deals with this specific situation better?

I hope I didn't make it sound too confusing 😀

  • Great overview! Thorough yet concise. I've been watching RankMath for awhile and think it's time to pull the trigger on making the switch from Yoast. Thank you.
