I have been running VULTR vps instances for several years the $5 plan 1gb ram 25 gb ssd to run halo game servers, I recently decided to go with the $6 high frequency plan, 1 gb ram 32 gb ssd, for game servers it's definitely worth the extra $1 per month, it reduced the latency of my halo servers from apx 50 ping down to about 30 ping.
So it depends on the application as to weather it's worth it or not, in my case it's a $1 well spent.
I have 350 active user they will use my Android app to do some Operations. Total 1000+ users, how do i chose a server for it? So that it never go down.
