I'm not sure if anyone suggested it already but if you're having difficulty with the crown molding options in AK, I would suggest you combine the base board with the crown you're using now, and make a frieze out of the two. You're right with the current crown looking too small, esp. compared to the base.

Does it make a difference in the way you laid it you laid it lengthwise instead of vertical what would stabilize and not Rick
