just installed to try this out, and I'm lost at 7:06 – my interfact doesn't have the Editor icon, just the Kadence icon, which opens up Kadence block controls rather than page controls. Not sure how to resolve… thanks!
[edit] Just watched it again an noticed it requires the "Kadence Theme"…. got it now. Did I miss the part where it said to install and activate the Kadence theme?

To be honest, it all sounds great. But it is a absolute nightmare still to work with. It took me at least 1 hr to do something so simple with this theme and plugin where in Divi it took me less than 30 seconds. It does so many things I'm not telling it to moving blocks, adding background colours, navigating the side panel is not easy. It needs a lot of work still.

Hi Adam, this is a great tutorial thanks. I use the Kadence theme and am just getting started with Gutenberg. I do have one question though, especially as you say anything can built on the same way as a page builder. When it comes to creating layouts/templates for custom post types, for example single post or archive templates, how can that be done with Kadence and Gutenberg?

Thanks for the tutorial Adam. This was very good and useful. However, I still like the Elementor & Beaver Builder more. Just a much more visual user experience. Gutenberg is coming around though. Just not there yet.

Love the Video and have been using Gutenberg for a little while have moved most of my sites from Elementor over now and love it the speed of editing and of the sites over all is so much better.
I do have one question i dont know if there is a fix for it but when you are editing and say you want to drag a block from one row to another the screen scrolls up and down and can make it awkward to drop it in the right place is there away to stop the screen scrolling as i didnt seem to do it for you when you dragged the heading in to the row near the end of the video

I have a dev sub domain, but have been playing doing other vids and stuff. But I’m thinking in order for yours to work, I should start with a completely empty WP site. Is that right? Many thanks
