I have to disagree: i run discovery ads targeting the exact same keyword as organic results, and the pay views still have lower retention that the organic ones… anyone has an idea why?

I've had some beginners' luck with in-stream ads but they seem to be very short-lived (I capped the views per user and it seems to only last for a few weeks tops). But your technique seems to be much, much better targeted and well optimized for cost. Can't wait to try it out myself! 🙂

This was really neat. I've never used ads to promote my content because my monetization has always been pretty weak, I could only be profitable with "free traffic." But it'd be interesting to try something like this someday.
