Thank you very much for your tutorial, though things have changed meanwhile. You have to use findById to get the item in the interface with R.id.<item>. I spent a long time in stackflow before I understood what was going on. Anyway that is neither here nor there. I think your tutorial strikes the right balance between simplicity and thoroughness.
