I need to set a CNAME that finish with a "."
The problem that I have is both name and record needs to finish wit the "." but after save the CNAME the "." at the end of the record disappear… I contacted my tech support and I asked about the "." at the end of the record and they said that with cPanel I can't add a dot at the end of the record, it will be added at the end of the name..

I need this CNAME with the dot at the end on both name and record in order to get a service that is provided from a 3rd party service, how can I add the dot at the end?

I was missing the "host" section when adding the record and that's why I was getting an error msg. This video helped me identify that. Thanks!
